The Marda Loop Justice Film Festival is hiring a Content and Design Coordinator. Join our team of passionate volunteers and staff who are working tirelessly to present the best social justice films from around the world and host meaningful post-film conversations with local experts and filmmakers. MLJFF is participating in the Alberta EcoTrust’s 2019 Environmental Gathering on April 4 & 5!
The Environmental Gathering is the only place in our province where people in the environmental community, companies, municipal and provincial governments, and citizens can gather to support positive environmental action. The MLJFF is showcasing the film “Hidden Life” at 8:15 am on April 5 at Ross Glen Hall, Mount Royal University. Chat with our Executive Director Jen Ewen at this event to learn more about our Festival and discuss environmental issues that are affecting Canadians and Calgarians!

Award-winning Canadian documentary Modified to air March 29, 2019 on CBC Docs
We’re very excited to announce that Modified is airing nationally on CBC television this Friday evening, March 29 at 9pm across Canada (9:30 pm NL). We first screened this film in May 2018 at our justREEL event. Check it out!
