On June 11, 2008 Prime Minister Stephen Harper offered a “Statement of Apology – to former students of Indian Residential Schools”.
In an act of neighbourly care, festival organizers will present the Tsuu T’ina Nation with a Book of Apology from festival attendees individually endorsing the Canadian government’s Statement of Apology. The book will be available for signing throughout the weekend.
