Art owns and operates an agriculture business in the BC Peace, and spends much of his spare time travelling with his family. He has had a long time interest in the Middle East and his recent trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel has once again sparked his interest in the religious/political struggle that exists.

Cara is a Teacher to grade 6-8 children in Dawson Creek BC. She believes in helping people become all they can be... whether challenging youth locally to make a difference in their school and communities, working with ex-convicts in Manhattan, or loving on orphaned children in Haiti... Cara believes that people can change and go on to make a difference in their own communities. Elaine Fitzpatrick: Elaine is currently an elementary school teacher in Dawson Creek. She is an outspoken advocate of children at risk and has been instrumental in developing lunch and breakfast programs in her local school.

Jenny is a Registered Nurse and has used those skills alongside her passion to travel. She has been on nursing missions in Nigeria, Cambodia and Haiti. She has firsthand experience in noting the correlation between corruption and poverty.

Kim is the co-director of an orphanage in Haiti called “Chidren of Grace”. She currently lives full time in Haiti and is in contact daily with children that have been abused and forsaken. Before coming to Haiti, Kim ran a home for unwed mothers in California. She is a living example of someone who has taken the physical steps to put a stop to injustices.

Ricki lives in Calgary with her husband Scott. Born and raised in Dawson Creek, she moved to Vancouver to pursue a BA in Business Administration and International Studies where she focused her education on Muslim faith and history. Since completing her undergrad, Ricki has lived in many of the major cities in Canada and has taken several overseas trips where she has had close contact with Muslim peoples and cultures. Ricki is currently pursuing her Masters of Leadership at Ambrose Seminary in Calgary, and is involved with a number of non-profit organizations, both on the board and volunteer level. She and her husband are passionate about helping people lead healthy lives: physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially.

Dr. Fisher is a chiropractor at a multidisciplinary health clinic in downtown Calgary. Scott’s passion for chiropractic, helping others and travel has allowed him to treat on various local and international heath care missions to areas including Dominican Republic, Tanzania, and Swaziland. When not at the clinic, he and his wife Ricki enjoy staying active with running, tennis, snowboarding/skiing, rock climbing and hiking.
