Volunteer with CJFF

At CJFF we present some of the world’s best documentaries on the issues that are important to us as individuals, Canadians, global citizens, and humans—and we couldn’t do this without our passionate volunteers!

Throughout the year a team of volunteers works hard to bring our festival to life. Volunteers support the festival by participating in various capacities according to their time and skills.

We are looking for talented members to help out during the year to prepare for our Festival.

We especially need volunteers who are available from January to June and:

• are computer savvy

• can maintain our website

• can help with social media

• are available to watch and rate films every two weeks for five months

• can help seek out and arrange speakers for each of our film festival screenings

• can support our Board with Peace Fair preparations

During our festival we need volunteers willing to:

• set up and take down the festival

• usher during the festival

• greet and direct festival attendees

• help with outdoor traffic flow

• work in our Reel Cafe

If you would like to help but do  not see a position that fits your skill set, please contact us anyways. There are always places where we need help.
